A truly romantic side of surfing

Alaska, a US state, would have to be one of the last destinations surfers ever think about. The place is more synonymous with snow than surf.

Anyway, the crazy cats in today's video like to go there to explore surf destinations!

I wasn't expecting too much when I pressed 'play' on this clip, but I was very, very, very pleasantly surprised.

These guys aren't pros, they're 'just' good. Yet their passion for the sport, nature and adventure is immensely attractive. I loved their ability to conquer cold, distance and the obstacles of the Alaskan landscape to find something new, unique and empty.

I thoroughly encourage those who love the romantic side of our great sport to watch this. I expect your heart will be warmed and you will want to see more...
