Since I couldn't surf, I stood on the rocks and took photos.

As far as that section of coast goes, this kind of swell is considered quite good.

Since it was also an uncrowded weekday morning, Chris got a stack of waves. So many in fact that he had the old jelly-arms within two hours of surfing.
