Surfline has recently published a bunch of amateur surfing photographs.

To me, what the feature in the below link shows, is that regular everyday surfers like you and me (no offence) can score fun, epic, and perfect surf. No big budgets required (of course that helps though)...
The only difference between me and these photographers is, that I'd be in the water surfing instead of on the shore photographing!
