Surf trip starting off pear-shaped

Well, my trip to Yorkes with my dad is looking to turn out like my last one - the worst ever!

South westerly winds look like they are going to buffet us for the four days we'll be here.

We've just rocked up and there's nothing for me to surf.

I've attached a photo of Spits - the only place that can handle this wind. Don't be fooled by the photo though - I had to wait a while to take it. In reality it was a long time between sets and the waves were pretty fat after the takeoff.

Booooo.
